Rescuing Talent

Description   Regardless how successful the organization or how highly skilled the workforce, there are times when it is necessary to rescue a critical or talented employee. Sometimes these are isolated situations; other times these situations are a result of performance barriers that have built up over time. This course addresses the specific skills and behaviors that the employee needs to change, improve, or acquire. This course is available in 2, 4, or 8 hour format.
Objectives  
  • Set clear performance expectations through a joint discussion with the manager and employee
  • Learn to assess an individual's performance using 360 degree feedback, motivational profiles, and decision-making style evaluations
  • Develop and implement a performance improvement plan and coaching strategy

  • Objective feedback that incorporates specific examples and the impact of specific demonstrated behaviors
  • A one-on-one feedback session between a consultant and the employee
  • Facilitated meeting with employee and manager to discuss feedback and recommendations for performance improvement
  • On-going coaching sessions as determined
  • Designed For   Managers who want to determine if a particular employee can make it at the next level; anyone involved with performance appraisal / development discussions
